WHAT ARE? HOW TO USE? HOW MUCH?
Poppers are volatile liquids, generally sold in small bottles. They belong to a group of substances called alkyl nitrites, as butyl nitrite, isopropyl nitrite, isobutyl nitrite and amyl nitrite. They determine strong dilation of the blood vessels producing a rapid and very intense blood flow to heart and brain.

Trade names are many: RedsRam, Thrust, Rock Hard, Tnt, Liquid GoldKix, Amyls.

On sale in sex shops, clubs, saunas and online, they often are disguised as deodorizers.

They are sniffed by the bottle, although some prefer to soak a cigarette into the liquid and to inhale the vapors from it, without lighting it on!! Beware: poppers are highly flammable liquids! You can have severe burns either putting the bottle near a flame or lighting a cigarette soaked in poppers.

The effect is immediate and lasts a couple of minutes. They are inhaled several times during the same session.
